Our History

Rudy Ogawa began his love affair with the flower business in 1955. Rudy owned the first flower shop in Moiliili, which has since become the flower center of Honolulu. Rudy's flower stores have had different names in different locations. "Rudy's Flowers" has been in its present location since November 2004.

Although Rudy passed away in 1999, his family has continued his legacy by providing the freshest, best floral products in Hawai'i. Rudy's Flowers is widely known for its helpful and friendly service, attention to detail, relaxing atmosphere and reasonable prices. For the past few years, Rudy's Flowers has been featured by KHON, Channel 2, in its Valentine's Day special. In its readers's poll, The Honolulu Star Bulletin has Rudy's Flowers as the second most popular florist in Honolulu, a condition which we are attempting to cure and improve upon.
